Vaginoplasty is an effective surgery to tighten the introital (entry) diameters of the vagina by the surgical realignment and tensioning of the muscles of the lower vagina. The goal is to restore the youthful, muscular tension present in the vagina before childbearing. Properly performed, the surgery may result in the following:
- Greater ability to 'grip' one's sex partner during intercourse, producing more friction and contact, with more potential for mutual pleasure and orgasm.
- A reduction in the open or 'gaping' appearance of a vagina made lax by chilbearing.
The tighter vaginal anatomy has a more youthful and pleasing appearance.
